With the help of CIIE, the fresh milk from New Zealand get to the 3rd and 4th tier cities

It is hard for Mr. Wang to imagine that the " Internet sensation" milk of the first CIIE coming to his hometown only within three months.
 
When Mr. Wang participated in the first CIIE, Theland 4.0 milk from Milk New Zealand company left a deep impression on him. During this year's Spring Festival, Mr. Wang returned home and he found the same imported milk brand is already available in his hometown, Pingluo County, Shizuishan City, Ningxia.

Sheng explained that clearance and inspection used to be the“bottleneck”. Fresh milk requires more than 8 days to get to supermarkets in the traditional logistics process. As the validity period is only 15 days, over half of the time is wasted and thus it is hard for consumers to drink the low-temperature, high- quality fresh milk from overseas.
 
Nevertheless, owing to the comprehensive ability to support the trade facilitation of enterprises from Shanghai Customs and the government of Changning District, an innovative supervision model is tested, which separates the clearance and inspection. Theland achieved the customs clearance "zero wait" after breaking the “bottleneck”.
 
Thanks to these favoured policies, Theland imported fresh milk only takes 72 hours to finish all the process including milking, pasteurizing, bottling, inspecting in New Zealand, flying to China, finishing clearance and putting on the shelf and getting online at the same time. On the first day, after milking at 3 or 4 am, the raw milk went to the production base for pasteurization and bottling from 5 to 7 am. The next day at noon, the milk reached Auckland Airport. Around 9:00 or 10:00 p.m., the milk was on a flight of China Eastern Airlines to Pudong International Airport. The milk landed around 6 am on day three. It was given clearance to leave between 12 pm and 3 pm and finally got to the cold chain warehouse at 6 pm.
 

 
“A bottle of fresh milk flying halfway across the world essentially transcends the numerous tests of the business environment.” said Sheng. the import volume of Theland fresh milk has expanded from 3,000 bottles per week to 80,000 bottles, increasing more than 20 times. Additionally, during the e-commerce festival on June 18th, 2019, the sales volume of Theland increased by nearly 2 times comparing to the festival last year.
 
Because of the remarkable effect brought by the first CIIE, Theland registered for the second CIIE very early. “We hope to double our sales volume, get more orders, gain more resources and achieve strategic cooperation with more companies. “It is reported that Theland will bring many world debut products on the second CIIE.
